The Knowledge and Intelligence Solutions Administrator will lead the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the firm’s experience management platform, Litera Foundation. This role is responsible for ensuring that experience data is accurate, accessible, and strategically leveraged to support business development, knowledge sharing, and analytics across the firm. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, service-oriented professional who combines strong technical platform expertise with excellent judgment, communication skills, and execution.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead the implementation, testing, rollout, and ongoing administration of Litera Foundation across the firm.
- Serve as the primary business owner and subject matter resource for Foundation, including configuration, enhancements, workflows, and user support.
- Manage platform governance and data stewardship practices to promote consistency, usability, and data quality.
- Partner with KM, Business Development and Competitive Intelligence teams to prioritize enhancements, gather requirements, and improve processes for collecting and maintaining experience data.
- Deliver training, documentation, and support for attorneys and business professionals, with a focus on user adoption and best practices.
- Coordinate testing for releases, upgrades, and enhancements, and communicate changes clearly to stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison with the vendor regarding support issues, upgrades, product feedback, and enhancement requests.
- Develop and support governance forums or working groups focused on platform standards, change management, and service expectations.
- Maintain administrative documentation, reporting, communications, and project coordination related to Foundation initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in knowledge management, legal operations, experience management, or data systems administration in a law firm, corporate legal department, or other professional services environment.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Litera Foundation, including both front-end and back-end functionality.
- Strong experience with legal or professional services technology, such as experience databases, legal research tools, workflow systems, legal project management platforms, or related practice support tools.
- Ability to work effectively with lawyers, business development and marketing teams, administrative departments, and outside vendors.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and advance initiatives with limited supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain systems, processes, and benefits to varied audiences.
- Demonstrated commitment to change management, process improvement, user adoption, and the ongoing evolution of complex data and technology solutions.
- Experience supporting a range of legal practices, including transactional, litigation, and regulatory matters, is preferred.
- Familiarity with integrated third-party data platforms such as PitchBook, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Lex Machina, or similar tools is a plus.
The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:
Palo Alto, New York, San Francisco: $102,000 – $138,000 per year.
Austin, Boston, Boulder, Century City, Delaware, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Seattle, Washington, D.C.: $91,800 – $124,200 per year.
The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
