The successful candidate will have a wide and deep understanding of Big Law business development, an analytical mindset and a high comfort level working in a fast-paced environment.
Wilson Sonsini is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to play a critical role in protecting the Firm’s global technology environment. This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on security leader who thrives on solving complex challenges, strengthening defenses, and responding decisively to evolving threats. Partnering closely with the Director of Security Engineering and Operations, you’ll shape security strategy, lead incident response, and drive continuous improvement across our security architecture and operations.
Join our dynamic and thriving Privacy and Cybersecurity team to play a key role in our cyber incident response, crisis management, and regulatory defense practice. We advise companies as they confront cybersecurity incidents and other complex privacy and cybersecurity issues; represent clients in connection with investigations related to cybersecurity, AI, and privacy; provide counseling on best practices and regulatory compliance; and provide cybersecurity expertise to companies engaging in technology and corporate transactions. We also advise cybersecurity companies on legal compliance related to security research and threat intelligence activities.
Bring your 1-5 years of experience in debt capital markets and/or commercial finance to our dynamic Corporate Finance team in Palo Alto, San Francisco, or New York offices. You will have done borrower/issuer-side work and have experience in connection with single-lender and syndicated credit facilities, venture lending transactions, leveraged buyouts, offerings of convertible, high-yield, and investment-grade notes, and other structured financial instruments.
