The Technical Trainer, under the direction of the Director of IT Administration & Service Delivery, will be responsible for developing documentation, delivering training, and assessing technical training needs for the firm. This role also includes delivering training to new hires, software launches, device rollouts, and additional training support when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT related training, primarily virtually to diverse group sizes and occasionally in-person.
  • Conduct weekly training sessions for new hires.
  • Generate high-quality documentation and other forms of communication.
  • Develop training videos utilizing Camtasia.
  • Support the Director of IT Administration & Service Delivery with administrative tasks related to training.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of technical training experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-up, and excellent organizational skills.  
  • Keen sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to function under pressure, while managing multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess the ability to take initiative and is proactive.
  • Dependable team player with law firm experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Windows 11, Microsoft Office, NetDocuments, Power PDF, DocuSign, and other firm applications.
  • Proofread all work with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, yet also able to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and accomplish objectives without constant supervision.
  • Works effectively in both team settings and on individual tasks.
  • Proficient in managing and executing multiple projects concurrently, while maintaining deadlines in a dynamic and efficient environment.
  • Willing to travel if required.
  • Open to work late hours or overtime as needed.

The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:

San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $81,600 – $110,400 per year

Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $73,100 – $98,900 per year

Salt Lake City and all other locations: $65,450 – $88,550 per year

The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
