We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior HRIS Analyst to join our Human Resources team. This role will be the key subject matter expert in Workday configurations, advanced report writing, data analytics and payroll troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing Workday functionality, supporting HR and payroll operations, and providing data-driven insights.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain various business process (BP) configurations including creating and updating BP definitions, conditional and validation rules.
- Design and develop ad-hoc requests for custom reports and dashboards in Workday.
- Partner with the Payroll department to ensure accurate pay processing.
- Provide Workday technical support to all users by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues firmwide.
- Document processes, user guides, system workflows and training materials for new and existing users.
- Develop, import, and maintain data from external systems in Workday Prism Analytics.
- Stay up to date on Workday biannual release notes, documenting updates relevant to the team and firm.
- Participate in HRIS projects, including implementations, upgrades and system optimizations.
- Manage the firm’s relationship with Workday Consultants and certified partners on projects.
- Assign and maintain Workday security roles and access.
- Support data integrity, security and compliance within Workday.
- Collaborate with department leaders on project needs and analytics.
- Support HR business processes such as bonus, merit, benefits and open enrollment, benefit integrations, new hire onboarding, etc.
- Work closely with and mentor junior level HRIS Analyst(s), providing insightful advice and knowledge transfer.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of Workday HRIS experience, with a strong focus on reporting and analytics in a professional services or similar organization.
- Strong understanding of Workday’s advanced reporting tools, including calculated fields, composite reports and custom dashboards.
- Knowledge of Workday Payroll functionality is a plus.
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics is highly preferred.
- Experience working with third-party administrators, carriers, and vendors.
The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:
San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $116,875 – $158,125 per year
Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $105,400 – $142,600 per year
Salt Lake City and all other locations: $93,500 – $126,500 per year
The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
