Our Seattle office is seeking a corporate associate with 4-6 years of relevant corporate experience, particularly in one or more of the following areas: capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital, with a focus on representing emerging growth technology and life sciences companies.
The candidate will have the opportunity to advise clients throughout their full life cycle, from incorporation to exit, often serving as outside general counsel. This includes day-to-day counseling and direct interaction with management teams, negotiating and advising companies and investors in equity financings, and guiding clients through strategic transactions and acquisitions.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment, and who is an energetic and creative problem-solver. While a technical or science degree is not required, a genuine interest in new technology and life sciences and in being part of the team helping these new technologies and life sciences companies develop and entrepreneurs thrive is important.

Wilson Sonsini’s Energy & Climate Solutions practice is seeking associates with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our industry-leading energy regulatory practice. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing and drafting project development contracts, including power purchase agreements and other offtake arrangements, negotiating commercial and joint venture agreements, and supporting project and portfolio acquisitions and related financing transactions.
This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most consequential projects shaping today’s energy industry. This position will involve daily direct contact with a wide range of clients, Wilson Sonsini’s partners, and counterparty counsel, so strong communication and project management skills are required.
