Wilson Sonsini’s ECS Practice Group is unique in its mission-driven focus on clean energy and climate-friendly related projects, technologies, and business models, representing disruptors and innovators and those who finance them.
We are looking for an associate/counsel with 4-8 years of substantial renewable energy in engineering and construction law matters at a major law firm. Associates will have an opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers who provide active mentoring and to be part of a collaborative team of attorneys.
If you are looking for a unique, part time position with the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our cross-functional corporate teams, we want to hear from you. You will join Wilson Sonsini’s Real Estate team and work in close collaboration not only with your Real Estate colleagues, but also with our M&A and Energy & Climate Solutions teams. You will have at least 5 years of transactional and regulatory experience in environmental law, with a focus on transactional due diligence, contract negotiation, and assessment of environmental regulatory compliance.
Join our Energy and Climate Solutions team, working directly with the leader of our energy tax team. You will have ample opportunities for client contact and transaction management. You will play a key role advising on a range of tax equity partnership, inverted lease and sale-leaseback, equipment safe harbor, and tax credit transfer transactions. You will be part of an industry leading team advising project developers and sponsors. Bring your 6 or more years of experience handling complex tax equity partnership transactions and tax credit transfer transactions, Federal tax credit matters and related opinion practice to this exciting opportunity.
