Wilson Sonsini is one of the world’s leading law firms for tech companies, and we are committed to helping UK and European tech companies compete and win on the global stage.
Since opening in London, we’ve focused on offering Silicon Valley-style business and legal advice to UK and European tech companies.
We understand what it takes for tech companies to thrive, so we’ve built an integrated, US/UK-qualified, transatlantic deal team under one roof, with the core strategic skill sets that UK and European tech companies need to grow their businesses. More than half of the attorneys in our London office are US lawyers, a highly unusual set up that brings unique service to our clients.
Our team offers international experience to support the growth of UK and European tech companies—from launching, scaling, and raising capital to exiting via M&A, IPO, or otherwise—with a particular focus on UK and European tech companies exploring US expansion, fundraising, or exit.

We are looking for a UK qualified Share Incentive lawyer to join the London office to work with the existing UK Share Incentive partner. You will gain excellent experience and exposure to clients, with opportunities for progression. You will advise the firm’s clients on share option and employee incentive arrangements while supporting the London corporate team in relation to investments, M&A and IPOs. With a focus on UK/US advisory work, you will work regularly with members of the firm’s wider U.S. Employee Benefits and Compensation (EB&C) team on mutual clients as well as with corporate teams across the firm on both advisory work and cross border financings, M&As and other exits. We want to hear from you if you spent a majority of your 2-5 years PQE on employee share incentives and have a technical understanding and knowledge of incentive arrangements for private companies, with a particular emphasis on EMI arrangements, non-qualified plans, CSOP and growth shares. Ideally, you be commercially minded and solution driven with the ability to clearly explain and advise on complex issues.
The firm has a new and exciting opportunity for someone to join our finance team as our new Collection Representative to support our growing London office. This role will provide firsthand experience managing our portfolio of client accounts and ensuring timely payment of outstanding receivables. The ideal candidate will gain experience by working collaboratively across our various departments to support the firm’s financial goals. This position is available as a hybrid work schedule.
