Our nationally recognized technology transactions team partners with innovative life sciences companies across biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, digital health, diagnostics, and discovery tools, advising on the strategic commercial arrangements that drive the development and commercialization of their technology and growth of their businesses, including partnering and collaboration agreements, asset sales and spin-outs, foundational technology licenses with academic institutions or companies, manufacturing arrangements and other technology-focused operational agreements.
Associates join an entrepreneurial practice group that values collaboration, high performance and diverse perspectives and prioritizes mentoring, training, and professional development. You will have early client contact, exposure to a broad range of transactions, and the opportunity to work closely with attorneys across the firm.
We seek an associate with 3-6 years of transactional and licensing experience and genuine interest and experience in the life sciences sector. The position may be based in any of our offices, with a preference for Palo Alto, San Diego, or Boston.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range of $260,000 – $390,000, based on year classification.
- Discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
