Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and universities in and around the area, our Boston team represents innovators in several industries, including life sciences, technology, sustainability, clean energy, and financial services.
Our Boston office’s clients range from early-stage start-ups to public companies, as well as their board and management teams. We also represent leading venture capital and private equity firms, along with other investor institutions.
Because our team is advancing companies in new markets worldwide, our Boston-based attorneys represent clients in their most important matters, including with respect to the development of their intellectual property portfolios, preferred stock financings, initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures and strategic partnering agreements.

Wilson Sonsini’s Energy & Climate Solutions practice is seeking associates with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our industry-leading energy regulatory practice. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing and drafting project development contracts, including power purchase agreements and other offtake arrangements, negotiating commercial and joint venture agreements, and supporting project and portfolio acquisitions and related financing transactions.
This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most consequential projects shaping today’s energy industry. This position will involve daily direct contact with a wide range of clients, Wilson Sonisini’s partners, and counterparty counsel, so strong communication and project management skills are required. Our Technology Transactions Group offers the opportunity for self-motivated and entrepreneurial individuals with a strong interest in technology companies at all stages of growth to help build and grow an established and dynamic national practice. Your work will focus primarily on structuring, drafting, and negotiating a variety of intellectual property and commercial transactions as well as intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, financings, and other multidisciplinary transactions. The Senior AI Risk Advisor sits at the intersection of emerging AI technology and enterprise risk, helping shape how one of the world’s leading law firms adopts AI responsibly and strategically. Reporting to the Manager of Risk Operations, this role will lead the firm’s AI risk function, evaluating AI tools and vendors, developing governance frameworks, and guiding firm-wide AI adoption.
