Join Wilson Sonsini’s Boston corporate practice, where growth companies and the investors who back them turn for guidance at every stage—from formation through IPO and beyond.
Our Boston corporate team represents clients across life sciences, technology, clean energy, and financial services, ranging from early-stage start-ups to public companies, as well as leading venture capital and private equity firms. This is a true general corporate practice: no two weeks look the same, and associates gain exposure across the full range of matters that keep growing companies and their investors moving forward.
We’re looking for an associate with 4-6 years of law firm experience and a background in any combination of the following: venture capital financings, private equity transactions, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, ’34 Act compliance, or corporate governance. Candidates need not have experience in every area; we value attorneys who bring depth in one or more of these disciplines and the versatility to grow into others. Experience representing technology or life sciences clients is a plus but not required.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment, communicates clearly with clients and colleagues alike, and is ready to take on meaningful responsibility early. Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, written, and interpersonal skills are essential.
