With one of the largest and most sophisticated life sciences patent teams in Southern California, we handle the full range of patent counseling and litigation. Our team of recognized patent experts helps build new business models for pioneering life science and technology companies, consults on patent strategies, handles patent litigation, and helps secure technology licensing from universities and other institutions.
From facilitating startup corporate formation to venture capital and other financing to strategic partnerships and IPOs and public company representation, you will have the opportunity to be part of the full business life cycle in the life sciences and technology industries.

You will have extensive experience in public company reporting compliance and governance and the day-to-day issues that arise for public companies. Your 5 or more years of experience may include SEC compliance, disclosure matters, governance, and Nasdaq/NYSE compliance as well as representing either issuers or investment banks in capital markets transactions, including IPOs, equity/debt offerings, private investment in public entities (PIPEs) and at-the-market offerings.

Wilson Sonsini has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Security Engineer to join the IT team. This position under the direction of the Director of Security Engineering and Operations, is responsible for managing the firm’s information security systems and processes, assuring enforcement of security policies, managing the information security threat lifecycle, analyzing, and responding to security events escalated by the Security Operations Center (SOC) and coordinating actions to limit risks identified through our automated systems. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide your expertise and support in the areas of security engineering, incident response and risk management for the entire firm. This position is available as a hybrid work schedule.
