Wilson Sonsini’s European competition team is hiring legal interns for a six-month period starting as soon as possible. The firm offers a competitive salary package.
If you have any questions, please contact Martine Noyelle.
Based in Brussels and London, the European competition team regularly represents clients before the European Commission and the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, as well as other national competition authorities in the EU. It assists clients in the fields of merger control, cartel investigations, horizontal collaborations, vertical agreements, abuse of dominance, digital platform regulations, and other adjacent regulatory areas.

They may be able to satisfy part of their home jurisdiction’s apprenticeship requirements for admission to practice law. German Referendariat candidates are welcomed.
The European competition team values excellence and collegiality, and works closely with the firm’s global antitrust and competition practice. The team is international, and its attorneys are trained and qualified in various jurisdictions, including Belgium, Germany, Ireland, the UK, and New York. The group is led by Jindrich Kloub, who has nearly 20 years of competition law experience spanning the public, private, and academic sectors across many jurisdictions.

- Master’s degree in law (or equivalent), with excellent academic results.
- Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
