Located in the “corporate capital” of the United States, our Wilmington office sits at the nexus of Delaware’s pro-business environment and Wilson Sonsini’s commitment to promising and innovative companies throughout their business life cycle.

More than half of all publicly traded U.S. businesses, and more than 60 percent of the Fortune 500, make their legal home in Delaware. That makes Wilmington a critical hub for nearly every firm practice, giving you exposure to a wide range of legal work, clients, and career opportunities.

Our Wilmington team offers a full spectrum of legal support for our clients, including as to advice on corporate governance matters in the context of M&A, stockholder activism, financing rounds, IPOs, and the day-to-day life of companies. Our litigation team handles class action defense, securities litigation, and internal investigations. The Wilmington team includes two former members of the premiere business court in the country, the Delaware Court of Chancery, and two former partners from the team are now judges on the Court of Chancery and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. On our clients’ most sensitive matters, members of the Wilmington team are brought in to advise on Delaware law, corporate governance, and much more.

If you want to work at the heart of corporate America, Wilmington should be on your short list.
