Wilson Sonsini seeks a mid- or senior-level Federal Communications Commission (FCC) associate to join our growing regulatory practice working with some of the most exciting and innovative companies in the regulated telecommunications sector and covering a wide range of issues from classic FCC regulation to trade and security concerns.
We represent new space companies, service providers, device makers, investors and others on business and regulatory issues in the purchase and sale of FCC-regulated properties, as well as on critical FCC proceedings affecting their businesses. Candidates should have experience advising commercial space companies before the FCC, as well as with telecommunications regulatory work more broadly.
The candidate should also have an interest in national security matters, including but not limited to Team Telecom, CFIUS, anti-money laundering, sanctions, export controls, government contracts, and/or international trade. Preferred location is Washington DC. Other Wilson Sonsini office locations may be considered for exceptional candidates.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range of $365,000 – $435,000, based on year classification.
- Discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
