The Wilson Sonsini Privacy and Cybersecurity practice deals with complex data protection, cybersecurity and digital regulatory issues for leading and innovative companies around the world. Our highly experienced team advises clients of all sizes (from start-up to multi-national) across a wide range of sectors including the financial industry, high tech and life sciences, the Internet of things, social networks, connected mobility and biotechnologies.

We regularly represent clients in high-stakes investigations brought by data protection regulators in the UK, the European Union, the U.S. and around the world. We advise clients on GDPR and UK GDPR compliance projects, international data transfers strategies, data breaches and cybersecurity incidents, corporate transactional privacy, contract negotiation, litigation before national courts and the European Court of Justice.

  • 3rd-6th years’ post-qualification experience. England & Wales qualified.
  • A strong focus and professional experience in UK data protection and cyber security law.
  • Superior academic credentials and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with technology industries, government regulation and technology, and data protection regulators’ policy and enforcement regarding data protection and cyber security issues is desirable.
  • Familiarity with computer programming, network technologies, database design, and web technologies is strongly preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial, team player, enthusiastic and proactive.

If you want to help shape the privacy and cybersecurity legal landscape for years to come in a dynamic and thriving practice group, we welcome your application.
