The firm is currently seeking an Events Specialist to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate would possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to assist with the development, management, and execution of all private-label, third-party, and partnered events. This role will work directly with the Events Manager and attorneys to showcase the firm’s expertise through a variety of networking, partnering, and client appreciation events.
This position is available as a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Execute conferences, focused seminars, firm-wide functions, and strategic partnerships
- Manage events hosted at firm facilities and work with the events team to target and develop new programs focused on key audiences
- Help manage and maintain client database, including event registration and guest lists
- Facilitate strong relationships with event vendors and negotiate contracts to meet budget goals
- Able to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and industry professionals alike
- Ensure hosted events reflect the firm’s brand and values
- Work on special projects as needed, including business development and communications initiatives
- Moderate travel will be necessary to manage and attend events as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing events
- Experience in professional services, technology industry, or related service industries a plus
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with partners, attorneys, and staff at all professional levels to implement marketing goals and objectives
- Ability to effectively interact with clients, outside service providers, and business and community leaders
- High degree of discretion and independent judgment
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, internet research, Salesforce, and database skills
- Ability to execute both virtual and in-person programs
The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:
San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $81,600 – $110,400 per year
The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
