We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Marketing Technology team. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing marketing data from multiple sources to support strategic initiatives, optimize campaigns, and ensure the firm’s business development and marketing efforts are on track. The role requires a strong blend of technical and analytical skills, along with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data across multiple marketing technology platforms, including CRM systems, email marketing tools, social media analytics, and website traffic sources, to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage administrative tasks in Salesforce, including creating triggers, setting dependencies, developing automation flows, and conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity and efficient system usage.
  • Deliver detailed analyses and strategic recommendations to optimize marketing initiatives and support client acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Monitor data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies across various marketing systems to maintain consistent and accurate reporting.
  • Assist the Senior Manager of Marketing Technology in the integration and automation of marketing platforms and data sources.
  • Support the development and execution of implementation workflows for the migration of data sources and marketing tools.
  • Generate insights on campaign performance, lead generation, and key marketing metrics using tools such as Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Design and implement data reporting dashboards to enable marketing, business development, and leadership teams to track and evaluate KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to develop data signals and indicators that support client prospecting, relationship building, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Partner with the data operations team to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from marketing platforms, the firm’s data lake, and third-party sources to build robust business development dashboards and reports.
  • Create training documentation and instructional materials, including video tutorials, and lead user training sessions as needed.
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing data analysis, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Smartsheet).
  • Experience with CRM systems, ERM platforms, marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Introhive), and Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, segmentation, and campaign optimization techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
     

The primary location for this job posting is in San Francisco, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:

San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $81,600 – $110,400 per year

The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
