The firm is seeking a Business Development and Marketing Manager specializing in Life Sciences. This role will be crucial in proactively generating and supporting business development and marketing opportunities for select partners within our Life Sciences practice. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the life sciences sector, including biotech, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices, along with significant business development experience in a legal or related setting.
Wilson Sonsini has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Security Engineer to join the IT team. This position under the direction of the Director of Security Engineering and Operations, is responsible for managing the firm’s information security systems and processes, assuring enforcement of security policies, managing the information security threat lifecycle, analyzing, and responding to security events escalated by the Security Operations Center (SOC) and coordinating actions to limit risks identified through our automated systems. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide your expertise and support in the areas of security engineering, incident response and risk management for the entire firm. This position is available as a hybrid work schedule.
We want to hear from you if you have 1-4 years of patent prosecution law firm experience, patent bar membership, and a background in one of the following fields: cell or molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, bioengineering, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, pharmacology, biophysics, or digital health focused disciplines. Advanced degrees are required, and prior patent agent experience is preferred.
We want to hear from you if you have 1-4 years of patent prosecution law firm experience, patent bar membership, and a background in one of the following fields: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials sciences, artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML), or related disciplines. A demonstrable interest in the life sciences either from industry or educational experience is strongly preferred. Advanced degrees and prior patent agent experience are preferred.
