The firm is currently seeking a Senior Events Specialist to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate would possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to assist key stakeholders with high level meeting execution. This role will work directly with the Chief of Staff and practice group leaders to efficiently coordinate a variety of strategic meetings.
This position is available as a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage event timelines, budgets and logistics for firm management, board, and practice group meetings
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and technology needs
- Collaborate with senior management, board members, and other stakeholders to understand event requirement and preferences
- Served as primary point of contact for all event-related inquires and communications, and oversee execution of events on-site
- Ensure all events comply with company policies and adhere to budget guidelines
- Manage relationships with local vendors that work closely with our national offices to ensure brand standards are met
- Work on special projects as needed, including supporting business development and communications initiatives as they pertain to meetings
- Light travel will be necessary
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing events
- Experience in professional services, technology industry, or related service industries a plus
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with partners, attorneys, and staff at all professional levels to implement goals and objectives
- Ability to effectively interact with clients, outside service providers, and business and community leaders, as needed
- High degree of discretion and independent judgment
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, internet research, Salesforce, and database skills
- Ability to execute both virtual and in-person programs
The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:
San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $81,600 – $110,400 per year
The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
