We want you to go into your interviews feeling fully prepared. Working with our friends at the Berkeley Center on Law and Technology, we have created two video series to help you get ready for the interview season.
These videos are meant to help students understand different practice groups in the law and technology field, and to offer some practical suggestions for how to approach your job searches and interviews in this time of significant change.
Practice Area Video Series
The first series of videos each feature a partner and an associate discussing their legal practice area. The attorneys talk about what a typical day is like, how they chose that area of practice, what kinds of students tend to be successful in their practice area, and much more. There are twelve videos planned in this series in the following practice areas:
- Antitrust Life Sciences
- Complex Litigation
- Corporate Life Sciences
- Energy and Climate Solutions
- Internet Strategies Litigation
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Patent Litigation
- Patents & Innovations (prosecution and counseling)
- Privacy and Cybersecurity
- Tax
- Technology Transactions
- Trade Secret Litigation
Recruiting, Researching, and Interviewing Video Series
The second series of videos feature our attorneys and staff providing tips on how to research and interview with law firms. The nine videos in this series are:
- Community Impact at Law Firms: How to Research It to Find the Right Firm for You
- How to Make the Most Out of Your Summer
- How to Network with Law Firms Effectively
- Navigating the Recruiting Timeline—What is the new normal?

While we certainly hope that these videos will get you excited about Wilson Sonsini, we think you will find them to be helpful regardless of where you are interviewing. If you have questions, please reach out to our recruiting team!
