Define your core values, find your success

Wilson Sonsini is committed to the principle that diversity, equity, and inclusion are vital components of a thriving organization. Diversity of thought, experience, identity, and background, as well as an inclusive culture, enable our firm to deliver greater value to our clients, provide a welcoming environment for all of our employees, and make meaningful, lasting contributions to our internal and external communities. Introduced in 2020, the annual Wilson Sonsini 1L Student Diversity Summit brings together law students from around the country for practical workshops, panels, and networking opportunities. The Summit’s mission is to provide concrete advice about the legal industry and make the law firm recruitment process more accessible and transparent for all law students. In 2024, Wilson Sonsini hosted over 300 law students across the country, representing 60+ law schools.

The Wilson Sonsini 1L Virtual Diversity Summit will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, 1-4 pm PT/4-7 pm ET.

This is an enriching online program providing insights into the law firm recruitment process while emphasizing the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the legal profession.

Through a series of presentations at the Summit, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about our attorneys and practice areas
  • Hear from our clients and alumni about their different career paths
  • Gain insights on how to succeed in Big Law

The Summit is only the beginning of our relationship with you. As an attendee, you will also be invited to virtual professional development trainings to help you stand out as a candidate, legal practice panels to introduce you to our different departments, and our mock interview program to prepare you for upcoming the 2L recruiting season.

This combination of activities, connecting law students across the country, makes it a vital opportunity for all aspiring lawyers.
