Associates represent the future of our firm, and their insights, perspectives, and talents are a key ingredient for the firm’s success. Therefore, it’s critical that they have a voice in firm decisions and policies.
That’s the thinking behind our Associates Committee, a group of about 30 associates from a cross-section of the firm’s offices, practice groups, and seniority levels, and reflecting the firm’s diversity.
Giving Associates a Voice in Firm Management
As the collective voice of the firm’s associates, the committee works closely with management on issues that affect associates throughout the firm. The committee regularly consults with associates throughout the firm to understand the concerns, interests, and priorities driving important conversations around compensation, training, mentoring, career development, work/life balance, and firm culture.
Then, through monthly meetings and close collaboration with firm management, the committee recommends ways to enhance and improve existing programs and policies and introduce new ideas and initiatives.
Members of the Associate Committee are wonderful resources for insight and guidance and frequently take part in recruiting events and activities.
