The Wilson Sonsini 1L Virtual Diversity Summit is an enriching program, connecting law students across the country. The event will be held virtually on Friday, November 15, 2024.
Through a series of presentations, attendees will gain an understanding of the law firm recruitment process, fostering greater accessibility and transparency for all law students. This program also emphasizes the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the legal profession, making it a vital opportunity for all aspiring lawyers. During the Summit, you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about our attorneys and practice areas
- Hear from our clients and lawyers about their different career paths
- Gain insights on how to succeed in Big Law
The Summit is only the beginning of our relationship with you. As an attendee, you will also be invited to virtual professional development trainings to help you stand out as a candidate, legal practice panels to introduce you to our different departments, and our mock interview program to prepare you for the 2L recruiting season.

Everywhere I interviewed I asked about diversity because it is very important to me. I found out it is also very important to the firm. When I talked to firm leadership at other places, they talked about numbers. When I talked to Doug Clark, he said, “It’s not just about numbers—it’s about training, opportunity, career progression, culture.”
