The firm is currently looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Brussels office. This role will provide specialized administrative support for our attorneys in the Regulatory Practice (EU Privacy and Antitrust), ensuring client satisfaction and service quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manage attorney inboxes, calendars, and client matter files
- Proofread and edit legal documents, draft letters and standard memoranda
- Coordinate seminar registrations, complex travel arrangements, and manage reimbursements through ChromeRiver
- Assist in business intake and client billing processes including event preparations and legal directory submissions
- Utilize firm application effectively and assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Provide occasional translations (French or Dutch/English)
- Serve as backup for other executive assistants’ duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative assistant role; law firm experience is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiar with legal terminology is highly desired
- Strong attention to detail
- Full proficiency in English and French (C2) and good knowledge in Ditch (B1)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and multitask under pressure
- Flexibility to work overtime on as needed basis
The primary location for this job posting is in Brussels. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: €60,129 – €81,351 per year.
The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
