As a part of our data, privacy, and cybersecurity team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues around the globe to help clients navigate a constantly changing set of regulations, requirements, and enforcement issues.
Led by former senior officials who served in the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, the DOJ’s National Security Division, DHS, and other regulatory agencies, our team advises on issues arising from the collection, use, maintenance, and security of information.
Our clients’ sectors range from the financial industry, high tech and life sciences, the Internet of things, social networks, connected mobility, biotechnologies, and more. Because a large percentage of Wilson Sonsini’s clients are technology and life sciences companies, our team is especially skilled at addressing the unique issues that arise when privacy matters intersect with innovation.

Our European Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity team works in a highly motivating and challenging environment on exciting, cutting-edge development and expansion projects involving all aspects of UK and EU privacy and data protection law, and increasingly on digital regulatory issues, for leading and innovative companies around the world. We regularly represent clients in high-stakes investigations brought by regulators in the UK, the European Union, the U.S. and around the world. We are looking for entrepreneurial team players who are enthusiastic and proactive with 2-4 years’ of relevant post-qualification experience.
Join Wilson Sonsini’s esteemed European privacy and cybersecurity team in Brussels as we seek dynamic junior associates to enhance our practice. We advise clients across diverse sectors, including AI, finance, technology, life sciences, and more. You will engage in exciting, cutting-edge projects involving all aspects of EU privacy and data protection law. Our team also has a strong practice assisting clients with data breaches and cybersecurity incidents, corporate transactional privacy, contract negotiation, and other EU data legislations beyond the GDPR. You must be qualified in Belgium or France, with up to 2 years’ post-qualification experience and a strong focus on data protection and cybersecurity law. We value entrepreneurial spirit and are looking for team players with a proactive attitude.

Join our Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity team to advise on the full range of privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters on corporate and technology transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and other commercial and strategic transactions. You will be part of an industry leading team advising private and public companies of all sizes in a variety of industries, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud computing, software, and fintech. You will have 2-5 years of transactional experience, such as M&A, capital markets or technology transactions. CIPP certification or additional experience with technology industries, regulatory policy and enforcement or both is a plus.
