About the European Privacy and Cybersecurity Team
Our team advises clients across diverse sectors, including AI, finance, technology, life sciences, and more. You will engage in exciting, cutting-edge projects involving all aspects of EU privacy and data protection law—ranging from GDPR compliance strategy to investigations by national Data Protection Authorities, and litigation before national courts and the European Court of Justice. Our team also has a strong practice assisting clients with data breaches and cybersecurity incidents, corporate transactional privacy, contract negotiation, and other EU data legislations beyond the GDPR, including the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act, the Data Act and other legislative initiatives in the EU.

Qualifications
- Newly-qualified-2 years’ post-qualification experience; qualification in the EU is required, preferably Belgium or France.
- Strong focus on data protection and cybersecurity law with relevant professional experience is required.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with technology industries and life sciences is desirable.
- Technical knowledge in computer programming, network technologies, and database design is a plus.
- An LL.M. in the United States is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, team player, and proactive attitude.
