We are currently seeking a Temporary Marketing Events Specialist with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to assist with the development, management, and execution of all private-label, third-party, and partnered events. This role will work directly with the Events Manager and attorneys to showcase the firm’s expertise through a variety of networking, partnering, and client appreciation events.

This temporary position is anticipated to end on December 27, 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute conferences, focused seminars, firm-wide functions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage events hosted at firm facilities and work with the events team to target and develop new programs geared toward key audiences.
  • Assist with key internal activities for the firm, including firm-wide functions and targeted group activities.
  • Help manage and maintain client database.
  • Manage relationships with event vendors.
  • Work on special projects as needed, including business development and communications initiatives.
  • Light travel may be necessary.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with partners, attorneys, and staff at all professional levels to implement marketing goals and objectives.
  • Ability to effectively interact with clients, outside service providers, and business and community leaders.
  • High degree of discretion and independent judgment.
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, internet research, Salesforce, and database skills.
  • Ability to execute both virtual and in-person programs.

Experience and Education:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing events.
  • Experience in professional services, technology industry, or related service industries a plus.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: $24.52 – $33.17 per hour.

The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
