The firm is actively seeking a Regional IT Coordinator (RITC) to join our IT team in the New York office. This RITC role, under the direction of the Regional IT Support Manager (East Coast), is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient IT support within their regional office.
This role is a fully in-office position, Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Deployment, repair, and relocation of computer hardware
- Phone setup and support
- Software troubleshooting
- Conference room and video conferencing setup
- Maintaining a strong relationship with the Office Administrator
- Managing IT operations within the office
- Occasional travel to remote sites for IT support coverage may be required
- Field incoming IT support requests from employees in a courteous and timely manner
- Provide onsite and remote support for network, hardware, and application issues
- Perform hands-on fixes, including software installation/upgrades, hardware setup, system configurations, and data backup/restoration
- Conduct routine maintenance, including workstation, printer, and peripheral device checks
- Ensure proper setup, breakdown, and cable management for user workstations
- Maintain and track IT inventory
- Assist in identifying and researching firm hardware needs
- Play an integral role in the successful implementation of firm-wide IT initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education/experience
- 4+ years experience as a hardware technician
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including both PC and Apple products
- Experience with Windows 10 and macOS (Sierra/High Sierra or later)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong documentation skills
- Ability to work well independently and within a team to prioritize and execute tasks effectively
- Must be able to lift/move equipment up to 40+ pounds without assistance
- Availability for after-hours and weekend support as needed
- Familiarity with mobile device support (Android, iPhones, iPads) is preferred
- Experience in network management and help desk support
- Strong understanding of IT systems, applications, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configurations
- A+ Certification (or other relevant IT certifications) is encouraged
- Prior experience in a law firm environment is a plus
The primary location for this job posting is in New York. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: $35.14 – $47.55 per hour.
The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
