The firm has an immediate opening for a full- time Receptionist in our Boston office. The receptionist will present a professional and courteous image to internal and external customers and clients and will provide support to ensure that their requests are addressed. The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following.
This position will be Monday through Friday, 8:30am– 5:30pm , and occasional overtime may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction:
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Direct clients and visitors to appropriate meeting room.
- Answer and screen incoming calls, redirecting or taking messages as necessary.
- Assist clients with general inquiries about the firm’s services and procedures.
- Administrative Support:
- Schedule and confirm conference room and hoteling reservations.
- Handle catering requests for internal meetings.
- Oversee on-site meetings to ensure everything is running smoothly and addressing requests from visiting guests.
- Distribute and track building access cards.
- Enter all visitors into the building security system and Proyclick.
- Provide support to Office Administrator with office events and special projects.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, welcoming, and professional at all times.
- Other Duties:
- Assist with special projects as assigned by attorneys or Office Administrator.
- Perform other tasks as required to support the firm’s daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- 1+ year of reception or customer service experience, preferably in a law firm or professional office environment, is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment (fax, copier, etc.).
- Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion, particularly when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and attention to detail.

The primary location for this job posting is in Boston. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: $22.07 – $29.86 per hour.
The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
