Wilson Sonsini’s Energy & Climate Solutions practice is seeking associates with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our industry-leading energy regulatory practice. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing and drafting project development contracts, including power purchase agreements and other offtake arrangements, negotiating commercial and joint venture agreements, and supporting project and portfolio acquisitions and related financing transactions.
This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most consequential projects shaping today’s energy industry. This position will involve daily direct contact with a wide range of clients, Wilson Sonisini’s partners, and counterparty counsel, so strong communication and project management skills are required. If that’s of interest, we want to hear from you. The ideal candidate would join our Boston, DC, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle offices and would welcome attorneys who want to join the team in those locations and advance our mission. You will play a key role on a variety of transactions involving tax credits, tax equity, and transferability transactions. You will be a part of an industry leading team advising project developers. Preferred locations include San Francisco and Los Angeles; candidates located in other cities with firm offices will be considered.

We are looking for an associate/counsel with 4-8 years of substantial renewable energy in engineering and construction law matters at a major law firm. Associates will have an opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers who provide active mentoring and to be part of a collaborative team of attorneys.
